Upcoming Events:

Half Marathon - 12 May 2013

http://www.activeleisureevents.co.uk/half-marathon.aspx

We have 5 runners confirmed for the Half Marathon in the historic city of Chester. 2013 will be the 4th MBNA Chester Marathon, one of the UK's biggest mass participation marathons. The race will start and finish at Chester Racecourse, close to the city centre, which will provide a spectacular backdrop and outstanding facilities for both runners and spectators.

British 10k Run - 14 July 2013

http://www.thebritish10klondon.co.uk/

We have secured 12 runners for the British 10k London Run who are already in training. This is one of London's best scenic routes and the run attracts a lot of participants and charities. Starting on Piccadilly, outside the Guards & Calvary Club, runners will pass the new WW2 Bomber Command Memorial, which was unveiled by HM the Queen in June 2011, with Wellington Arch at Hyde Park Corner as backdrop.

Mount Kilimanjaro Challenge - September 2013

http://tours.trailfinders.ie/Tours/Africa_Mount-Kilimanjaro_Climb-Mount-Kilimanjaro-The-Rongai-Route

We have put together a team of nine climbers to scale new heights in a bid to raise vital funds for the charity. The team, made up of seven employees from Johnson & Johnson, one from Easy Jet, one from the NHS and one from Jaguar Land Rover, have begun training in order to embard on the gruelling trek up the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania in September.

The team of climbers will walk up to 10 hours a day for a week to reach the top, an altitude of almost 19,330 feet and one of the highest freestanding mountains in the world.

The epic task, funded personally by each climber, will be worth the effort as we hope to raise £6,000 for the charity.

Accomplished Events:

3 Peaks Challenge - 14/15 July 2012

www.thethreepeakschallenge.co.uk

Our first challenge was a great success and the team (listed below) completed the challenge on the 14 / 15th July 2012 in a time of 23 Hours and 56 minutes, so just within the magic 24 hour tough target.

The weather was reasonable but not spectacular, with most of the rain missing us. Although on each mountain there was low cloud that meant visibility was poor at the top.

Thank you so much to all of you that have sponsored us, and of course if you still feel like sponsoring us there is still time to do so, using the link below.
